Edinburgh airport was hardly 25 minutes away by car. The room was luxury and huge, had smoke detectors for the safety. The full Scottish breakfast that I ordered was free with food and drinks and hot items...

Great value, large double room and super breakfast for £40/night. Was able to request late book-in time.
Room was quite cold. Booked a double room on 1st floor (received confirmation from Booked.net with these details), but then received confirmation from Valentine Guest House of a different room booking (i.e. room in building across the road). Only to find out on arrival that we had original room after all, so quite confusing.

The weather was lovely, had excellent stay. I was happy, the family room I booked came with coffe maker, toiletries, as for instance. The breakfast was marvellous with lots of food, everybody can choose. The location was stunning and cosy, the staff was pleasant.
